Windows snipping tool

Snipping tool Windows snipping tool is located in the start menu on Windows under accessories. It comes up with a small box where you select new. It whites out the screen and you can drag the mouse to make an image of whatever you want on the desktop. You can then save it to the desktop and manage it in a paint program according to your needs. So easy.

  1. Hi Cathy. Yes, I love the snipping tool and use it all the time. So often you only need part of something on the screen and this tool makes it so easy to snip that bit!

    • I can’t believe I only just found it! It’s like the shift command 4 on the MacBook and so easy to use! Had to share it. I don’t remember seeing it in accesories and if I did , it obviously didn’t click.
