Do you need an alien?

monster Do you need an alien? We did this afternoon. Everyone is different. Some students can draw them or invent them on a paint programme or they know how to customise an image to create an alien. I teach French so I have taught my students to go looking for generators and helpful tools when they lack the image rendering skills which they’d like for an assignment. We are learning space language so we are making a planet and creating an alien who can tell us all about his/her planet. They were seeming to enjoy this assignment. As I walked around I noticed some of the students had found this BBC site, the Sarah Jane adventures, for making monsters and were happily engaged in creating their alien. It doesn’t take long, nor should it when the focus is French.
