Psychedelic maths images

control panel This gyro drawing tool by zefrank draws the most amazing images right before your very eyes. As a non maths person , the value for me is the fact I can get some very cool images, but it is also very calming to watch the shapes and depth of image develop and change. A maths person  would be able to understand what changes the control panel offers : things like rotational stability, vertical bias, beginning radius. I just play with the sliders and can see the difference it makes. In that sense I am learning but someone with a maths knowledge would be able to gain better control of the tool. It has had a lot of shares on Facebook. Not surprised. shape
