Working with whiteboards

adobe pdf It can be very annoying when you change whiteboards to find things displaying differently. If you have one area and set your laptop up on that board then it’s not a problem. If you use boards and dataviews of different brands on a regular basis , then you will work through the issues. If you have to change, though, and you are displaying something which isn’t as it should be , you might just have to talk your way through it. Main thing is to look at the whole screen for cues. Pdf files are something which display differently from one whiteboard/screen to another. Sometimes they will be illegible because they are displaying too small and you just cannot see that percentage box where you can adjust it. Next best thing are the + and – symbols which might be in a different place on the screen but they will still be in the toolbar. You might be used to looking for them in the middle…and then they’ll change and show up to the left. It isn’t easy because there are so many things which can change with a computer display. It is always a matter of looking but when you can’t see it…take a deep breath, relax and just carry on. It’s technology. If it’s going to be silly, let it be. You’re not.
