Microsoft Office knows everyone doesn’t have Office. When you save the file it can be saved in other formats. You could save it as a web page, a PDF or as an open document file for those people running Open Office or Libre Office. I have made a screencast (my first one!) to show you how to do that. If you don’t have Office, you can ask people to save the file in a different format for you. I used Jing to make my screencast and it is remarkably easy. The other options you have if you don’t have Office is to open Office files in Google Docs or SkyDrive. In both instances you need to sign up for an account.
