What are you doing Tweet Deck?

Tweet Deck has always been my preferred client for Twitter because it is cross platform and can run in columns which is very helpful if I want to follow and/or participate in various hashtags. I still use it but, increasingly, it is putting randoms into my feed. I want my feed to be those I follow, not those who are chosen by the cybergoblins. It’s so annoying.The whole point behind following others is to tailor my feed to me and my interests. Any cyber client which then decides what I want and what I like is going to fall foul because it is rude and presumptuous. Rant over. So I have been looking for other clients which are cross platform which will suit my needs. MY needs. Oops – that one just snuck in.

Tweetings -so cute!

My current alternate client is Tweetings. It is slimline, light weight and pretty efficient without being intrusive. I have used it for a week now and have come to value it. No, I can’t run columns but I have circumnavigated that by using TweetGrid. Tweetings is also cross platform and cross device and for me, it is very , very handy and keeps true to my feed which I find essential. I wouldn’t mind recommendations of tweets or people to follow. Just don’t mess up my feed!
